I wish you could pay for one-time-fee expansions on the dropbox. I avoid monthly costs if I can.

Fair enough, although paying a one-time fee, no matter how large is eventually going to end up as a liability for the owners. Even physical media you buy doesn't last forever.
I would but already have done so. :)
