Batman.
I think explaining myself further is redundant.
Though I will say that my favorite superheroes tend to be of the powerless, or at least semi-plausible, variety. Punisher, Kick Ass, Rorschach, Captain America etc. You could technically count James Bond and Dexter in that list too. Does that imply that I believe in the power of the individual to enact justice without the supernatural, or that I simply prefer a smaller suspension of disbelief while viewing those stories? Who knows.

My friend made the argument that while batman is more down to earth in terms of his physical qualities, the character and the world is all the more crazy.
I can see where he's coming from, I think if it were possible for people to have Superman-like powers there would be a real Superman, real General Zod etc, but even though it's certainly possible for a real Batman to exist it never has because no one would be crazy enough to do it.. or something.
